Investing in the Backbone of Kent’s Care System

Our Mission

Care Anchor Kent CIC is a social enterprise dedicated to sustaining the unpaid and professional care sector.

We bridge the gap between digital innovation and grassroots community support.

Why Partner With Us?

1. Scalable Impact: Our hybrid model combines the wide reach of the Carers Card UK platform voted local hubs.

2. Social Value: As a CIC, 100% of our surplus is reinvested into frontline support for Kent’s carers.

3. Proven Infrastructure: We don't just provide a "service"; we provide a stability "anchor" that reduces carer burnout and eases the pressure on the NHS and local authorities.

Current Reach

We are currently the 'Anchor' for Folkstone, Sandgate and Hythe.

Our goal for 2026 is to scale our proven model into Dover, Ashford and Canterbury.

We are seeking Strategic Partners to help us drop anchor in these communities.

Partnering for Change: The Professional Perspective

A Care Anchor Kent CIC, we provide a vital community bridge. In our second year, we have moved beyond being a local hub to becoming a scalable model for workforce resilience and safety advocacy.

Our Impact: Why Fund Us?

1. Supporting the Total Workforce (Paid & Unpaid)
We believe that care is a shared human experience. We support the mental health and resilience of both family carers and professional frontline staff. * The Benefit: By providing a "sanctuary" through music and relaxation, we help prevent burnout, reducing pressure on local health services and helping care agencies retain their staff.

2. Olivia’s Way: Improving Safety Standards (in development - pilot opportunities available)

Our advocacy work is rooted in real-world experience. In memory of Olivia Martin, we are developing workshops for care managers and staff. We move beyond "tick-box" compliance to focus on vigilance, transparency, and compassionate culture.

3. The Anchor Model: Scalable & Proven
We have a physical heart in Folkestone and a digital reach across Kent.
Geographic Footprint: Currently active in Folkestone, Dover, Deal, Ashford, and Canterbury.
The Digital Anchor: Our partnership with Carers Card UK provides data-backed support, verified IDs, and emergency planning.
The Vision: A Healthier Kent

We are seeking partners and funders to help us "Drop Anchor" in every major town in the county. We offer a proven, cost-effective model that:

  • Reduces social isolation in the community.

  • Improves care quality through advocacy.

  • Supports the local economy via our coffee-shop discount network.

"Care Anchor isn't just a service; it is an investment in the people who hold our society together."
