Live Well Kent 

Supporting wellbeing, practical advice and everyday challenges

Live Well Kent provides free support for people across Kent who are experiencing difficulties with their mental wellbeing or need help accessing practical services. Their experienced team can offer guidance with:

  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applications

  • Benefits advice and financial guidance

  • Mental health and emotional wellbeing support

  • Accessing local health and community services

  • Signposting to specialist organisations

  • Building confidence and independence

 

Live Well Kent aims to help people improve their wellbeing while connecting them with longer-term support where needed.

Typical waiting time: Approximately four weeks.

Please note: Live Well Kent is not an emergency or crisis service.

Kent Together connects people with local organisations offering practical support during difficult times. They can help you find community services that meet your individual needs.

Carers UK

Carers UK provides trusted advice for unpaid carers, including information on carers' rights, benefits, finances and wellbeing. They also offer practical resources to help carers feel informed and supported.

Kent Young Carers

Kent Young Carers supports children and young people who care for a family member. They provide advice, activities and emotional support to help young carers thrive.

Folkestone Mind

Folkestone Mind provides local mental health support, wellbeing programmes and community activities. They also offer advice and signposting to additional services where needed.

The Rainbow Centre, Folkestone

The Rainbow Centre offers practical support for individuals and families experiencing hardship, including food bank services, community support and guidance to other local organisations.

Care Anchor Kent CIC is developing an advocacy service, expected to launch in 2027. It will support carers with benefit applications, appeals, paperwork and communicating with services. Until then, we encourage you to explore the organisations above or contact us if you'd like help finding the right support.
